Pizza Tartlets
Ingredients
- Olive oil, for brushing
- 6 slices of fresh white square sliced bread
- 1½ cups of Napoli-style sauce
- 8 bocconcini balls, torn
- 6 black olives sliced
- 200g DON Kabana, sliced into 2 cm thick rounds
- Basil, to garnish
Method
- Preheat the oven to 200°C. Grease a muffin tray with oil.
- Using a cookie cutter, cut bread into 12 large round discs and arrange in muffin to form a nest. Brush bread with oil and then bake in the oven for 10-15 minutes to set and dry out.
- Remove then add Napoli sauce, olives, bocconcini and kabana slices. Return to oven and bake for a further 10-15 minutes to melt cheese.
- Cool for 5 minutes before garnishing with basil.
